PROFILE
Nodarse joined Rhode Island FC ahead of the 2024 USL Championship season after spending two seasons with Rio Grande Valley FC Toros. In two seasons with the Ocean State club, he made 65 starts in 71 appearances, scoring eight goals and assisting one in 5,609 minutes as the club’s highest-scoring defender. Across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, he ranked top-three in the club with a combined 257 clearances, 85 interceptions and 28 blocks.
2025: Nodarse made 29 starts in 32 appearances across all competitions in 2025, scoring two goals. In 2,414 minutes, he finished first on the team with 28 interceptions, second with 116 clearances and third with 1,123 passes and 131 duels won.
2024: The defender enjoyed a career-best season in his first season with the Ocean State club, scoring six goals and finishing as one of only two players to start all 38 games in 2024 across the regular season and playoffs. He also led the team with 3,105 minutes played, 55 interceptions, 75 tackles won, and 234 duels won.
Before RIFC: During his time with the Toros from 2022 to 2023, the Cuban native made 46 appearances and 37 starts, tallying 3,317 regular season minutes, one goal, and three assists. Before his arrival in Edinburg, Texas, Nodarse spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons with Fort Lauderdale CF (now Inter Miami CF II) of USL League One. After signing his first professional contract with Fort Lauderdale, Nodarse logged 728 minutes in 13 appearances with the club. At the tail end of the 2021 season, Nodarse was loaned out to USL Championship club Charleston Battery, where he contributed 164 minutes in three games. Nodarse also brings international experience at the youth level, most notably playing for the Cuba Under-20 National Team during the 2018 CONCACAF Championship.
