PROFILE
Fuson signed with Rhode Island FC on January 16, 2024, after spending two seasons with MLS Next Pro side Columbus Crew 2. Fuson enjoyed a career-best season in his first year with RIFC, earning the league’s Golden Playmaker Award after finishing the season with a league-leading 10 assists. He added nine goals for a team-leading 19 goal contributions on the year, logging 2,775 minutes in 37 appearances. Prior to his time in the USL Championship, Fuson was named Crew 2 Player of the Year in 2023 when he led the Columbus reserve team to the MLS Next Pro Final, where the squad fell 3-1 to Austin FC II. The Glendale, California, native was even more successful the year before, helping Crew 2 win the 2022 MLS Next Pro Final 4-1 over St. Louis City SC 2. In his two seasons in Columbus, Fuson logged 4,392 minutes over 49 starts and 57 appearances, and tallied 20 goals and nine assists. Fuson started his professional career after signing his first contract with Forward Madison FC of USL League One on August 17, 2020. The striker appeared in 33 League One games across his first two professional seasons, scoring three times.
