BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Aug. 1, 2026) – Due to inclement weather around Protective Stadium, tonight’s USL Championship Week 22 game between Rhode Island FC and Birmingham Legion FC, originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. ET, has been postponed.
The game has been rescheduled for Sunday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN Select and 790 The Score.
Following tomorrow’s game, Rhode Island FC will return to Centreville Bank Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 8 when it takes on Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC for a rematch of the 2024 USL Championship Final. Tickets to the next home game are available now at rhodeislandfc.com/tickets.
