OUR PURPOSE
OUR PURPOSE
A club for all Rhode Island
Everything we do on and off the pitch is to be a club for all Rhode Island. It’s a part of our culture, language and values. Our mission inspires us to play a meaningful and impactful role in the community. It motivates us to compete to win and to raise trophies. It’s why we built Centreville Bank Stadium on the riverfront in downtown Pawtucket—a place to gather as a community and create lifelong memories.
We strive to be one of the most respected soccer clubs in North America and the flagship venue for sports and entertainment in Rhode Island. We recognize that when we wear the crest across our hearts, we represent more than the club—we play for the people and the place we call home. It’s why we will always be:
GROUNDED
We are who we are. No apologies.
INDEPENDENT
Founded by an iconoclast, we were the first colony to break from tyranny. A defiant giant stands above our State House as a reminder of hope and independence. We’ve never cared about what others believed, and we aren’t about to start.
FOR ALL
The country’s first synagogue. The first African American professional soccer players were the Watson Brothers from Providence. Immigrants from every corner of the globe stand tall inside our borders. All are welcome in our state and our club.
PROUD
We’re a small state surrounded by titans. We learned long ago that if you can’t stand taller, stand together.
SALTY
What did you expect from the Ocean State? We have an attitude, and we’re happy to share it with you—be it a raised glass or raised voice.
