PROFILE
Rodriguez was signed on December 3, 2024, after spending four seasons with Eastern Conference side Detroit City FC, where he most recently came off of a career-high season in 2024. Earning the first USL Championship All-League First Team nod of his career, the midfielder led Detroit with 10 goals and nine assists on the way to a third-place Eastern Conference finish. The San Antonio native brings six seasons of United Soccer League experience to the Ocean State across League One and the Championship, spending two seasons with his native San Antonio FC (2017-2018), one season with the Richmond Kickers of USL League One (2019), and four seasons with Detroit (2021-2024), including one season in the National Independent Soccer Association (2021) prior to Le Rouge joining the USL Championship in 2021. In total, Rodriguez has found the back of the net 26 times, adding 11 assists across his six USL seasons, logging 153 appearances and more than 10,000 minutes. He led Detroit in scoring in both 2022 and 2024, with nine and 10 goals respectively, and has been an integral part of the Motor City’s introduction to the USL Championship over the last three seasons.
